All year round,
let yourself fall under the spell of birdsong and the ringing of the bells at the Carillon de la Paix. After sunset, the resort's bars, restaurants and nightclub light up the night and fill the village with a warm, festive atmosphere. By day, Morgins is an ideal sporting destination, with its sports centre and polyvalent activity village hall. One of the first resorts in Switzerland, Morgins' traditions go deeper than tourism. Every year, residents celebrate their Celtic origins by ringing the Toupins de Morgins to commemorate the winter and summer solstices. In recent years, the Morginois have revived the traditional Inalpe' festival. This festival celebrates the herds' departure up to the summer pastures in the Alps. The highlight of this festival is the "Combat de Reines", fight between the famous Valaisan Herens Queen cows.

In summer

Morgins in summer is the starting point for a vast network of hikes and walking trails. In addition, Morgins boasts four educational theme trails; these are the planetary trail, the forestry trail, the bridges trail and the bee keeping trail. From a vantage point high in the surrounding mountains, a peek through your binoculars will bring you face to face with Mont Blanc or the spectacular Dents du Midi massif.
Finally, this little town is a haven for sports-lovers, offering activities such as mountain biking, horseback riding, paragliding, indoor and outdoor tennis, an outdoor pool, go-carting, guided walking tours and archery, not to mention the long list of weekly events and activities for young and old alike.
